Job summary

Western Parcel Express in Dubbo is seeking a Warehouse and Driver Support Person to join our Dubbo depot. The role involves operating forklifts, assisting with loading and unloading, and performing local Dubbo and regional pickups when required.

The candidate will need forklift experience, knowledge of load restraint and mass management, and hold a HR or HC truck license. PDA scanners for freight sorting and maintaining a clean warehouse are also important.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience is essential for daily operations.

• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods transportation is advantageous.
• Previous use of PDA scanners for freight sorting is preferred.

Western Parcel Express (WPE) is a family owned and operated transport and Logistics company providing freight and storage solutions throughout Australia.

Due to expansion, We are looking for a Warehouse and Driver Support Person to join our Dubbo depot.

This role involves being:

• Highly experienced in Forklift driving,
• Have a strong knowledge of load restraint and mass management.
• A HR or HC truck License is also an essential qualification
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods transportation an advantage
• Previous use of PDA scanners for freight sorting
• Ability to keep the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition

Reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, this person will operate fork lifts, unloading and loading a range of vehicles plus will need to be able to do both local Dubbo & Regional pick ups when required.

They will have a good understanding of the requirements of a Heavy vehicle operator, including Load Restraint and Mass Management.
