Job summary

4WD Interiors is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson and Dispatch Co-ordinator to join our team in Dandenong South. You will handle pick and pack, prepare and dispatch orders, and assist with product modifications and installations as needed.

We value accuracy, safety, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role operates Monday to Friday with opportunities to grow within our automotive lifestyle company.

Warehouse Storeperson and Dispatch Co-ordinator

This is so much more than a full-time pick n pack position. We’re seeking a motivated person who combines genuine car knowledge and a passion for 4WD Touring with prior experience handling dispatch procedures, including logistics, ensuring orders are processed quickly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately according to packing slips or digital systems, ensuring items are securely and correctly packed for dispatch.
• Product modifications where required, utilising power and hand tools.
• Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods, including labelling, documentation, and coordination with logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment.
• Safely load and unload goods from trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques to minimise risk and ensure efficiency.
• Receive incoming deliveries, confirming quantities, and entering stock into inventory systems.
• Assist our Parts Installer when required on R & D and installing our product into vehicles.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in accurately picking, packing, and processing customer orders, whilst working to production schedules
• Confident with desktop computers, fast learner with new software, and comfortable managing basic order workflows and external carrier sites.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Background or interest in the automotive industry (desirable)
• Real passion for 4WDs and the outdoor lifestyle (preferred)
• Leadership qualities, someone who can take ownership of the warehouse space.

Non-negotiables for this role

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Valid Victorian Driver's Licence
• Great written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
• Competency with hand tools
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
