Job summary

Toby’s Estate Coffee is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson for our Alexandria, Sydney warehouse on a permanent, full-time basis. Typical hours are 6am–2pm, Monday to Friday, with duties spanning receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock and wholesale coffee to café customers.

You will pick and prepare customer orders, receive deliveries with invoices, arrange courier collections, and maintain an organized warehouse while supporting occasional deliveries when needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence and forklift licence required or highly regarded.
• Experience operating high-reach and reach-in forklifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and dispatch coffee equipment and roasted wholesale coffee.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Receive deliveries, check invoices and forward paperwork to Finance.
• Book courier collections and prepare labels and manifests.
• Provide back-up delivery support and maintain an organized warehouse.

The story of Toby's Estate began in 1997, in the grungy streets of Woolloomooloo, armed with Mum’s garage, a beat-up coffee roaster and passion on tap, we set out on a wild adventure of business and coffee discovery. Not concerned with the frills of it all, but just that we were consistently consistent in roasting the tastiest coffee we could and treating all the people in our world like family.

Fast forward nearly 30 years and we’re an energetic team and merry band of misfits united by a common passion for doing amazing things, and at the forefront of pushing the limits of premium specialty coffee.

What you’ll do:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Storeperson to join our small team at our Alexandria warehouse on a permanent basis. Our warehouse is where we receive, store and dispatch coffee equipment and freshly roasted wholesale coffee to our café customers.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of stock, along with general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and preparing customer orders for delivery.
• Receiving incoming deliveries, including checking and signing invoices, and forwarding relevant paperwork to the Finance team.
• Booking daily courier collections and preparing all required paperwork, consignment labels and manifests.
• Providing back-up delivery support when required, including assisting with customer deliveries.
• Maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse to ensure orders and deliveries are completed accurately and on time.

About you:

You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and solve problems as they arise. You’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, staying calm and focused when things get busy or you’re working under pressure. You’ll be proactive, reliable and hold both a full driver’s licenceand valid forklift licence, with experience operating high-reach and reach-in forklifts highly regarded.

You will have access to all the coffee you can drink, beans to take home and an extra 5 days leave off per year!

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role based at our Alexandria warehouse with typical working hours of 6am - 2pm.
