Job summary

Greene Fire in Sydney, NSW is seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join our manufacturing plant. You will manage goods inward/outward, perform quality checks, and support production with timely dispatch of high-value items.

Applicants should have minimum 3 years warehousing experience, a valid NSW driver’s license, a forklift license, and be eligible to work in Australia. Training on MYOB ERP will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years warehousing experience in manufacturing high value, low volume products.
• Proven ability to coordinate and manage warehousing for multi-faceted orders.
• Hold a valid NSW driver's license and forklift license; eligible to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Complete goods inward/outward on ERP system, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) with Production Engineer.
• Maintain ERP system controls at each production stage.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to achieve on-time dispatch of products.
• Conduct QC checks during and after assembly.
• Undertake scheduled stock takes and warehouse housekeeping.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeperson to join Greene Fire in our Taren Point manufacturing plant. This role will typically suit experienced Warehouse Storeperson with unique products requiring enthusiasm, creative energy, motivation and self-drive.

The role:

• Completing all goods inward/outward document requirements on ERP System Control expeditiously
• Providing First Article Inspection (FAI) with the Production Engineer
• Completing System Control (ERP) at each production build stage
• Work closely with all production/engineering staff to achieve scheduled dispatch of completed products
• Completing Quality Control (QC) checks both during the production process & post assembly
• Undertaking scheduled stock takes & maintaining warehouse control
• Working with Engineering developing new packaging systems
• Pick-up/Delivery of inventory items, completed product & machinery as required
• Undertake general warehouse housekeeping & assisting production duties as required

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within the production department:
• Completing all goods inward/outward on ERP System Control (MYOB)
• Training will be provided on MYOB ERP system for candidates with general ERP experience
• Completing Quality Control (QC) checks both during the production process & post assembly
• Completing ERP system control at the completion of each production stage
• Adhering to current OH&S legislation, company policies & procedures.

About you:

• Proven warehousing ability in manufacturing high value, low volume products
• The ability to foresee any potential inventory supply issues that may impact on meeting production time lines
• Demonstrated experience to coordinate and manage warehousing for multi-faceted orders
• You will be reliable, motivated, and able to work under pressure with changing priorities
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Hold a valid NSW driver's license
• Hold a valid forklift license
• Be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 Years experience in Warehousing Storeperson role/s
• Trade qualifications with production/technical experience would be advantageous
• Ability to adapt to new methods & changeable schedules
• Able to work on your own or within the production team
• Motivated & able to think outside the box
• You will report to the Production Engineer

The remuneration package offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
