Job summary

Steel station Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our Goodna, Queensland warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods.

You will receive, inspect, store, pick, pack and dispatch orders, maintain stock records, run routine counts, operate forklifts, and follow health and safety policies.

The role requires prior warehousing experience, a forklift licence, attention to detail, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution environment.
• Forklift licence and experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Store and organise inventory in the warehouse using established procedures.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch goods to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate stock records and provide reporting as required.
• Assist with conducting regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

About the role
