Job summary

Aero Defence on the Gold Coast is seeking a focused Warehouse Storeperson to join our defence-sector team. You will manage stock, handle SAP inventory control, receive and dispatch deliveries, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Aerospace background is a plus; training will be provided to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP inventory control and stock management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications used for tracking stock.
• Able to work accurately under deadlines and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAP Inventory Control and ensure accurate information for management.
• Receive and manage incoming and outgoing deliveries efficiently.
• Respond to customer and supplier queries and maintain stock levels.
• Investigate discrepancies and take corrective action per quality standards.
• Store and pack products following procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product quality.
• Oversee import/export of freight and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• SAP Inventory Control – ensuring accurate & timely information to Management


• Receive and manage incoming & outgoing deliveriesin an efficient manner


• Responding to customer and supplier queries


• Maintenance of stock levels


• Investigate inventory discrepancies and take corrective action in line with company quality standards


• Storing and packing of products in accordance with appropriate procedures and regulations


• Communication with suppliers to ensure quality of products meet company standards


• Manage import & export of freight


• Adhere to the company quality manual standard whilst working with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance

Skills and experience

• Very high attention to detail


• Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines


• Microsoft Office – excel, outlook andwordis essential in this role


• SAP Business One – experience with this software (or similar) is highly desirable


• Organising and prioritising tasks


• Aviation/Aerospace background highly regarded
