Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team in Townsville, QLD. The role focuses on handling and distributing Defence aviation materiel within a compliant warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in Defence supply chains, experience with ERP SAP, and a strong team orientation with excellent interpersonal skills. A High Risk work licence is required to meet security and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years+ experience in Defence aerospace/FMS supply chain management.
• Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence; High Risk work licence.

• Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy.
• Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel.
• Ensure compliance with safe warehouse operation policies.
• Support disposal recommendations and action as required.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording per Defence policy.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team on all arising activities.

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Operator (Storeperson) to join the AH-64 Apache sustainment and support team.

Program Overview

The AH-64E Apache program provides advanced attack helicopter capability to the Australian Defence Force, enabling precision strike, armed reconnaissance and close air support. This program sustains a critical combat capability, supports interoperability with coalition partners, and underpins Australia's land and joint operations.

• Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
• Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
• Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity's that arise
  

Who we're looking for:

• Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
• Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
• A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual or similar and the application of warehousing principles and methodologies.
• A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
• The ability to work within a team
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
• High Risk work licence
