Job summary

Hanwha Defence Australia at Avalon Airport, VIC, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Specialist to support production for the Redback IFV program. You'll work across receiving, storage, movement and delivery of high-value components, ensuring materials are available to keep production moving and meet strict safety standards.

This role requires a current High Risk Forklift Licence, experience with high reach forklifts, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Hold a current High RiskForklift Licence.
• Experience operating high reach and high-capacity forklifts.
• Experience in warehouse operations supporting manufacturing or production environments.
• Experience handling large, oversized or complex inventory.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence desirable.
• High Risk Dogging Licence desirable.
• Certificate III or IV in Warehousing Operations desirable.
• Experience using SAP Produmex WMS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery schedules and incoming transport activities.
• Safely unload deliveries and inspect incoming stock.
• Receive, process and accurately store inventory.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Manage quarantined inventory processes.
• Replenish warehouse stock locations.
• Pick, stage and prepare materials for production requirements.
• Deliver inventory to production teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse systems.
• Contribute to a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment.

Your New Role:

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, movement and delivery of materials that support vehicle production. You'll work with a diverse range of inventory, including large, high-value and specialised components, ensuring materials are available when needed to keep production moving.

What You'll Bring:
