Job summary

W-S Parcel Service Pty Ltd in Dubbo region is seeking delivery drivers. You will unload, sort, load and deliver parcels door-to-door to businesses and homes, upholding friendly service and efficiency.

Applicants must hold a C Class license and be able to drive both auto and manual. A Federal Police check is required; training is provided and uniforms/vehicle upkeep are expected.

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience:

We require candidates to possess a minimum C Class car license and the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.

Well-presented, reasonably fit, mature, hardworking, and accurate.

Strong adherence to strict delivery principles that ensure customer and contract satisfaction.

A good memory recall and a desire to achieve a high level of efficiency are further attributes we value.

While knowledge of the Dubbo Region in New South Wales is considered a bonus, it is not mandatory, as we will provide comprehensive training to successful applicants.

Tasks and responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

Unloading parcels

Sorting them into run order

Loading the parcels, and delivering them door-to-door to both business and residential addresses.

Please note that potential employees will need to pass a Federal Police check as a necessary requirement for this position. It is also the responsibility of our employees to conduct pre-start vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness to ensure a seamless delivery process.

This position primarily operates from Monday to Friday, allowing for a stable work schedule. However, please be aware that the final four to five Saturdays prior to Christmas are considered our peak season. During this period, your availability and flexibility are essential to meeting the increased demand and providing excellent service to our customers.
