Job summary

AYVA Packaging Pty is seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Storeman to join our team at the Wetherill Park facility in NSW. This full-time role focuses on receiving, storing and distributing goods with emphasis on inventory accuracy and timely order fulfilment.

The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, a forklift licence (desirable) and strong organisational skills to work safely in a fast-paced environment. White Card certification is preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and check incoming goods against orders and delivery notes.
• Store items in designated locations with appropriate methods and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch to customers.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Support stock rotation and FIFO principles.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods and stock issues.
• Assist the team to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets.

About the role

AYVA Packaging is seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Storeman to join our team at our Wetherill Park facility in NSW. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse/Storeman, you will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that our inventory is managed accurately and our operations run smoothly. This position is integral to supporting our business objectives and delivering excellent service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, unpacking and checking incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes

Storing items in designated locations using appropriate storage methods and equipment

Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular stock checks

Picking and packing orders for dispatch to customers

Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently

Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Assisting with stock rotation and management of goods according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles

Identifying and reporting discrepancies, damaged goods and stock issues

Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily, weekly and monthly targets

What we're looking for

Proven experience working in a warehouse, storage or distribution environment

Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (desirable)

Strong organisational and attention to detail skills

Ability to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment

Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly

Reliable, punctual and committed to meeting deadlines

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems

Current or willingness to obtain a White Card (Work Health and Safety induction card)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
