Job summary

Capital Transport is seeking a Warehouse Storeman to join our Warehouse department in a permanent role. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-paced team.

You will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage dispatch, receiving and order picking, conduct stock counts, and ensure WHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Previous warehousing experience is essential.
• Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
• Valid driver's licence and full working rights.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the everyday operations of the warehouse.
• Executing the dispatch, receiving & order picking process.
• Conducting the regular stock counts.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse.
• Booking daily freight pick-ups and deliveries.
• Ensuring a constant supply of consumables.
• Ensure WHS site & safety rules are enforced.
• Ensure effective receipt and distribution of goods from the warehouse.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems for administration tasks when required
