Job summary

Dasco Supply Group in Welshpool, WA, is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to join our warehouse team. This full-time role focuses on efficient picking, packing and dispatching, while maintaining accurate stock records and performing regular stock takes.

You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, assist with deliveries and collections, and ensure safety standards are met. Australian residents with forklift experience and strong teamwork are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a general warehousing or stores role.
• Forklift license or experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue stock items.

About the role
Dasco Supply Group is seeking a dedicated Stores Person to join our team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time role that contributes to the efficient and accurate management of our general warehouse operations. As part of our picking, packing, and dispatching team, you will play a key role in supporting the overall productivity and success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, storing, and issuing a variety of stock items and materials

Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock takes

Picking, packing, and dispatching orders in a timely and efficient manner

Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys

Ability to perform moderate physical tasks including lifting up to 20kg as required for warehouse operations

Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and compliant with all relevant safety standards

Assisting with the coordination of deliveries and collections as required

Supporting the wider warehouse team with any other general duties as needed

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar general warehousing or stores person role

Proficient in the use of warehouse equipment and systems

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Forklift license and/or experience is highly desirable

Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
