Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies in Welshpool, WA, is seeking a Storesperson/Warehouse Assistant to join a practical, varied team. You will receive stock, pick and pack orders, maintain stock accuracy and support branch duties while upholding safety standards.

Forklift operation may be required; a positive attitude and reliability are essential. You should have warehouse experience, good communication, and basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn about industrial products.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
• Good mechanical aptitude and interest in industrial products.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• A current driver’s licence preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming stock and ensure it is receipted and stored.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate stock and minimise stock discrepancies.
• Assist with general warehouse and branch duties as required.
• Operate a forklift (where trained) and handle goods safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety procedures.

Our Welshpool Branch has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and reliable Storesperson / Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This is a practical and varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work with a broad range of industrial products and be supported by an experienced team while developing your knowledge and skills. Here’s a bit about the role Your responsibilities will include: Receiving incoming stock and ensuring it is accurately receipted and stored Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch Maintaining accurate stock and helping minimise stock discrepancies Assisting with general warehouse and branch duties as required Foklift Operation Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe Following all workplace health and safety procedures
