Zusammenfassung

Aramex Sunshine Coast is seeking a Warehouse Leading Hand to support the PM shift, coordinating forklift activities and ensuring safe, efficient distribution. You will work with the current Leading Hand, drivers, office staff and the Operations Manager to meet operational objectives and uphold safety standards.

You will lead a small team, drive best practices, and promote a proactive safety culture while implementing SOPs and coordinating warehouse activities on site.

Qualifikationen

• Current HF Forklift licence (essential)
• Experience or a desire to lead a team in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Champion a strong safety culture
• People and safety-centric leader, who has a continuous improvement and proactive mindset.

Aufgaben

• Assist the PM Freight handling team and PM warehouse activities
• Perform all forklift operations
• Load/unload inbound and outbound Linehaul tautliners
• Implement and execute warehouse SOPs
• Sort freight into designated bays, cages and crates
• Support site safety awareness and management
• Handle general warehouse administrative, maintenance and housekeeping tasks

About the Role:

Aramex Sunshine Coast is seeking Warehouse Leading Hand to share responsibility for the distribution and logistics operations of the PM shift. You will work collaboratively with the current Leading Hand, courier drivers, office staff and Operations Manager to implement the operational objectives, support the local deployment of operational processes and procedures as well as achieve a safe and efficient working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the PM Freight handling team and PM warehouse activities
• All Forklift operations
• Loading/Unloading of inbound and outbound Linehaul tautliners
• Implementation and execution of warehouse SOP’s
• Freight sortation including cartons, satchels and parcels into designated bays, cages and crates
• Site Safety awareness and management
• General warehouse administrative, maintenance and housekeeping tasks

To be successful in this role:

• Current HF Forklift licence (essential)
• Experience or a desire to lead a team in a Logistics or warehouse environment
• Champion a strong safety culture
• People and safety-centric leader, who has a continuous improvement and proactive mindset.
