Job summary

CouriersPlease in Arundel (Gold Coast) is seeking a reliable Freight Handler with an LF Forklift Licence to join our operations team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on safe, efficient movement of freight through the depot, with a heavy emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 3:00 AM to 10:36 AM. You will sort, lift up to 25 kg (team lifts for heavier items), scan freight, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following all safety procedures and depot policies.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence is required.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or freight is ideal but not essential.
• Physically demanding role with repetitive manual handling.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Sort and move freight into designated bays and cages.
• Read labels and correctly sort freight into appropriate areas.
• Scan freight and support movements through the sortation machine.
• Palletise and shrink-wrap freight as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Freight Handler (with LF Forklift Licence) to join our operations team on a full-time basis at our Arundel branch.

Hours: Monday to Friday | 3:00AM to 10:36AM

About the Role:

As a Freight Handler, you'll play a vital role in the efficient and secure movement of freight through our depot.

Our freight profile primarily consists of small to medium parcels, typically under 10kg, however, occasionally, you may be required to handle items weighing up to 25kg (team lifts encouraged for items over 20kg).

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical fitness, and a strong safety mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort and move freight into designated bays and cages.

What We're Looking For:

• LF Forklift Licence (required).
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or freight environment is ideal but not essential.
• Comfortable with repetitive manual handling and physically demanding work.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• Must have Australian work rights.

Important to Know:

You’ll be required to wear steel cap boots and high-vis gear at all times on site.
