Job summary

J L KING, a locally owned food manufacturing and wholesale fruit and vegetable business in Bendigo, is seeking an enthusiastic pick packer to join our fast-paced team. The role starts as casual with progression to full-time, with night and early-morning starts.

Responsibilities include packing orders from pick slips, weighing items, and loading/unloading vehicles using a forklift license. You will perform manual handling, pick produce, conduct QA, receive and rotate stock, and maintain warehouse

Qualifications

• Reliable, honest and hardworking.
• Positive attitude with ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Picking and packing experience highly desirable.
• Forklift license will be an advantage.

• Packing orders from a pick slip for wholesale customers.
• Weigh items & note on pick slip.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles (Standard Australian forklift license required).
• Manual handling which includes lifting.
• Picking produce along with salads and ready meals.
• Quality assurance.
• Receiving stock/stock rotation.
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse presentation.

Due to our recent growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our dynamic, fast-paced environment as a pick packer.

The role will start as casual, after trial period it will become a full-time, the hours of work are nights and early morning starts

Qualifications & experience

• Forklift license would be an advantage.
• Some knowledge of fruit and vegetable's
• Picking and packing orders
• Stacking Pallets

Tasks & responsibilities

• Packing orders from a pick slip for wholesale customers.
• Weigh items & note on pick slip.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles (Standard Australian forklift License required)
• Manual Handling which includes lifting
• Picking produce along with Salads and ready Meals
• Quality Assurance
• Receiving stock/stock rotation
• Cleaning and maintaining warehouse presentation.
