Job summary

Inalca Food & Beverage Australia, part of the Cremonini Group, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Picker & Packer in Sydney (Alexandria) for an early morning, Monday to Friday shift. You will pick, pack and prepare orders, handle stock, use scanners and a warehouse system, and support timely deliveries within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

• Previous experience in warehouse picking and packing.
• Availability to start early in the morning, Monday to Friday.
• Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance.

• Basic communication in English and working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Ensure products are correctly handled, labelled and packed according to procedures.
• Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming stock.
• Maintain stock handling and follow FIFO/FEFO procedures.
• Use handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Prepare orders for delivery and assist with loading activities.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
• Follow health and safety and food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to hit daily targets and deadlines.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Picker & Packer to join our Sydney warehouse team in Alexandria.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Ensure products are correctly handled, labelled and packed according to company procedures.
• Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming stock.
• Maintain accurate stock handling and follow appropriate stock rotation procedures (FIFO/FEFO).
• Use handheld barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Assist with preparing orders for delivery and loading activities when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety and food handling procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets and delivery deadlines.

About You

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

• Previous experience in warehouse picking and packing, preferably within food distribution, logistics or a similar environment.
• Availability to start work early in the morning, Monday to Friday.
• Excellent punctuality, reliability and attendance.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling duties safely.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Desirable but not essential:

• Experience working with chilled or frozen food products.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning and warehouse inventory systems.
• Knowledge of food safety and stock rotation practices.
