Job summary

The Independent Liquor Group Co-Operative Limited in Brisbane is seeking a motivated picker/packer to join our warehousing team for immediate start with potential for full-time ongoing work.

You will retrieve items, pick and pack full cases, use scanners, and work at pace to meet daily goals while maintaining safety standards. Forklift license is desirable and strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as picker/packer in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow warehouse processes and safety rules.
• Willingness to work AM/PM shifts and overtime as required.
• Right to work in Australia and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from shelves and storage locations according to the warehousing system.
• Pick and pack full cases onto pallets.
• Use scanners to identify and track items in the warehouse.
• Ensure orders are filled accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable person to be part of our warehousing team for immediate starts, with potential for full-time positions. You will safely and efficiently contribute to our smooth warehouse operations in the delivery of fast-moving goods.

Key responsibilities

Retrieve items from shelves and storage locations according to the warehousing ordering system

Pick and pack full cases onto pallets

Use scanners to identify and track items in the warehouse

Ensure that orders are filled correctly and items are packed accurately

Work at a fast pace to meet production goals

Collaborate with warehouse employees to achieve dedicated goals

About you

Well presented and prepared to look after assets and equipment

Forklift license is desirable and will be highly regarded

Great interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with warehouse staff to achieve efficiency and results

Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment

Positive mindset with the ability to drive continuous efficiencies
