Job summary

Catering HQ is seeking a proactive Pick Packer / Warehouse Storeperson to join our team in Sydney. The role blends hands-on warehouse duties with admin tasks in a fast-paced, chilled environment.

The successful candidate will hold a forklift licence, have experience in low-temperature storage, and be committed to safety, quality and hygiene while working as part of a team to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• Experience in low-temperature environments is essential.
• Ability to work in cold storage for extended periods.
• Strong manual handling skills for stacking chilled and frozen products.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely.
• Be highly focused on safety, quality and hygiene compliance.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and packing daily orders in a low temperature environment (-18°C).
• Perform stock rotation to maintain product freshness.
• Conduct inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
• Ensure general operational tidiness of stock, facilities and warehouse.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching deliveries.
• Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks.
• Monitor and reduce waste and product loss.
• Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.

This role is a mix of hands on and admin duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately picking and packing daily orders in a low temperature environment(-18 degrees)

• Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative
• Ability to work unsupervised as required
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to health and safety, following safety procedures and wearing correct PPE.
