Job summary

Home Delivery Services is seeking motivated Picker/Packer for our Eastern Creek depot in NSW. The role is casual, fast-paced, and involves accurate picking and packing in a cold storage environment, with heavy lifting and consistent daily targets.

You'll work on day shifts during a seven-day operation, with start times around 5am and 11am, and there is on-site parking. Prior warehouse picking/packing experience is required, with dairy or chilled product exposure highly regarded.

• Physically capable with heavy lifting throughout shifts.
• Experience in cold storage or dairy environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently to daily targets across Chiller or Ambient areas.
• Perform heavy lifting consistently throughout your shift in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Ensure all packed orders meet quality and accuracy standards prior to dispatch.
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to keep the operation running smoothly.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Ongoing Work | 7 Day Operation | 5am & 11am Starts | Free On-site Parking

Following a new client win at our Eastern Creek depot, we have multiple Picker/Packer positions available and we're looking for motivated, physically capable people to join our day shift team. These are casual roles with a genuine pathway to full-time employment for the right candidates.

The Opportunity:

As a Picker/Packer at our Eastern Creek depot, you'll be working in a fast-paced cold storage environment picking and packing customer orders accurately and to target. This is a physically demanding role involving consistent heavy lifting, so we're looking for people who are fit, reliable, and ready to work hard. Warehouse or pick/pack experience is required, and prior exposure to milk, dairy, or chilled product environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently to daily productivity targets across areas of Chiller or Ambient.
• Perform consistent heavy lifting throughout your shift in a chilled warehouse environment
• Ensure all packed orders meet quality and accuracy standards prior to dispatch
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team to keep the operation running smoothly
• Identify and report any damaged, missing, or incorrect stock and maintain a clean and safe work area

You’ll Bring:

• The physical fitness and capability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout your shift
• Previous warehouse or pick/pack experience is a MUST
• Reliable attendance to support your team and daily runs
• Previous experience using a pallet rider is a highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to meet pick-rate KPIs of 200 cartons per hour
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to turning up and giving it your all every shift
• Comfortable working in a cold storage environment with appropriate PPE
• A team-first attitude and strong commitment to safe work practices
