Job summary

DSV is hiring a Warehouse Operator in Goulburn, NSW. You will ensure goods are picked and packed correctly and paperwork is completed per procedures. You’ll work with the Warehouse Manager to maintain safe, efficient operations and may assist with loading or unloading of trucks.

Your day includes interpreting picking slips, moving stock, updating the system, and keeping the area clean. Two years in a similar role and a reach forklift license are required.

• Two years’ experience in a similar warehousing role with forklift operations.
• Experience handling safety procedures and paperwork in a warehouse.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain 100% picking accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy.
• Assist with loading/unloading of vehicles using forklift or manual handling.
• Maintain stock accuracy via cycle counts and system updates.
• Enter and update information in the computer system and reports.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and perform daily safety checks.
• Report incidents/accidents/near misses promptly.

DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Warehouse Operatorin AUS - Snowy Hydro Limited, Goulburn

The role plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, ensuring customers goods are picked and packed as required and that all associated paperwork is completed as per procedures. The Warehouse Operator reports to, assists and works cooperatively with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor in providing safe and efficient warehouse operations.The Warehouse Operator will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of trucks on occasions as directed by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor.

Your typical day at DSV:

• Interpret information contained on picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders.
• Unloading/loading of vehicles (either rusing forklift, lifting aides or manual handling) and movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Maintain 100% accuracy when picking stock, and performing stock takes and cycle counts.
• Enter and update information in computer system.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks.
• Report all incidents/accidents/near misses without delay.

About you:

• At least two years experience in a similar position with reach forklift license and experience.
• Experience handling dangerous goods is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
