Job summary

Force Equipment Service & Hire seeks a motivated Warehouse Operator to support daily warehouse and distribution operations at Forrestfield Workshops. The role involves receipting orders, picking/packing, dispatching materials, forklift and yard duties, and assisting the workshop as needed.

You will be part of a busy team servicing mining operations across WA. Applicants should have warehouse, logistics or mining supply chain experience, a valid forklift licence and a C class licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or mining supply chain.
• Forklift and C Class Driver's Licence.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred).

• Loading and unloading linehaul and courier freight.

• Processing back freight and returns.

Up to $39 per hour (Based on experience)

Force is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our mining and logistics operations running efficiently.

Based at our Forrestfield Workshops, you'll be responsible for ensuring materials, freight, and inventory flow seamlessly through the warehouse, supporting major mining operations across Western Australia. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy workshop environment where no two days are the same.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working 10-hour shifts, offering a great work-life balance with the added benefit of overtime opportunities. What your day will look like:

As a Warehouse Operator, you will support daily warehouse and distribution operations including:

• Receipting purchase orders and managing inbound freight
• Picking, packing and dispatching materials
• Loading and unloading linehaul and courier freight
• Forklift and general yard operations
• Processing back freight and returns
• Coordinating urgent freight when required
• Assisting in the workshop when required

You’ll work closely with the workshop team, logistics coordinators, purchasing team, and site personnel to ensure materials are sourced, dispatched, and delivered accurately and on time. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining efficient operations and supporting the seamless delivery of services across the business.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Previous warehouse, logistics or mining supply chain experience
• Fork-lift and C Class Drivers Licence
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Certificate IV in Warehousing Operations (highly desirable)
