Job summary

Vinarchy is seeking Warehouse Operators to join the Supply Chain & Operations team at our Berri distribution site. You will support day-to-day warehouse and dispatch activities, working rotating day, afternoon and night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

You will be involved in loading/unloading trucks, picking/packing orders, stock receiption and maintaining safe, efficient operations across the warehouse, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar warehouse environment.
  • AQF2 Certificate in Food Processing (Wine) – relevant warehouse units.

Responsibilities

  • Autonomously or in a team to perform day-to-day warehouse tasks.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch stock accurately and efficiently.
  • Break down and re-pack pallets as required.
  • Load/unload vehicles safely.
  • Operate forklifts for extended periods.
  • Use scanners and other electronic equipment for stock handling.
  • Enter data and complete warehouse documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with warehouse and transport personnel.
  • Report issues and progress to supervisors.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and inventory controls.

About the role

We are seeking Warehouse Operators to join our Supply Chain & Operations team at our Berri distribution site.

Reporting to the Warehouse Distribution Shift Supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse and dispatch activities. You will work rotating day, afternoon and night shifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This hands-on role involves loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, receipting incoming stock (including finished goods and dry goods), and maintaining safe and efficient warehouse operations

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Working effectively both autonomously and as part of a warehouse team
  • Picking, packing and dispatching stock accurately and efficiently
  • Breaking down and re-packing pallets in required configurations
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely
  • Operating forklifts for extended periods
  • Operating electronic equipment such as scanners
  • Data entry and completion of warehouse documentation
  • Communicating clearly with warehouse and transport personnel
  • Reporting issues, variances and progress to supervisors
  • General housekeeping of the warehouse and dispatch areas
  • Assisting with inventory control, including regular cycle counts

  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day, afternoon and night)
  • Occasional out-of-hours work as required
  • Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards
  • Compliance with Vinarchy’s Code of Conduct and company policies
  • Occasional business travel may be required
