CareWell Health | Botany, Sydney NSW | Full Time

Warehouse & Logistics Manager
CareWell Health | Botany, Sydney NSW | Full Time

About CareWell Health

CareWell Health is an Australian medical equipment, furniture and services business supplying aged care providers, hospitals and healthcare organisations. Established in 2004, we pride ourselves on providing quality products, reliable service and practical solutions that make a difference to healthcare environments across Australia.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a hands-on and proactive Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead our warehouse operations, oversee daily order fulfilment and ensure our products are received, stored and dispatched efficiently.

About the Role

This role will see you take ownership of the day-to-day running of our warehouse in Botany, ensuring small & large orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.

You'll lead the warehouse team, coordinate daily workloads, oversee incoming stock and container arrivals, maintain inventory accuracy and work closely with Customer Service, Sales and Operations to keep orders moving.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, supporting their team, solving problems and continuously improving how things are done.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the warehouse operates safely and efficiently, with the right people, processes and systems in place to support CareWell's growing customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations: Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging and dispatching customer orders.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, organise and support warehouse staff, ensuring daily priorities are clear and workloads are managed effectively.

  • Dispatch & Logistics: Coordinate daily dispatch activities, deliveries and freight requirements to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.

  • Container Arrivals: Plan and coordinate incoming container deliveries, unloading, stock receipting and the efficient movement of goods into storage.

  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, oversee cycle counts and stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and ensure inventory records are kept up to date.

  • Order Fulfilment: Monitor outstanding orders, prioritise urgent requirements and work with internal teams to resolve picking, stock and dispatch issues.

  • Staffing & Recruitment: Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and supervision of warehouse employees and casual staff to meet operational requirements.

  • Warehouse Organisation: Maintain an organised, clean and efficient warehouse layout, ensuring stock is stored appropriately and can be accessed safely.

  • Systems & Processes: Ensure warehouse transactions are recorded accurately in company systems and identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiency and stock visibility.

  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain safe warehouse practices, ensure equipment is used appropriately and promote a strong safety culture across the team.

  • Performance & Reporting: Monitor warehouse productivity, order accuracy, dispatch performance and stock discrepancies, identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with Customer Service, Sales and Operations to resolve order issues, communicate delays and ensure customer commitments are met.

About You

You're an experienced warehouse professional who combines strong leadership skills with a practical, hands-on approach. You know how to organise a busy warehouse, manage competing priorities and keep a team focused on delivering results.

You're comfortable making decisions, addressing problems as they arise and working collaboratively with other departments to ensure the warehouse supports the wider business.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience managing or supervising warehouse and logistics operations.

  • Demonstrated experience leading, coordinating and supporting a warehouse team.

  • Strong knowledge of order fulfilment, picking, packing, dispatch and receiving processes.

  • Experience coordinating deliveries, freight requirements and incoming stock shipments.

  • Understanding of inventory management, stocktakes and resolving stock discrepancies.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different departments.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

  • Confidence using warehouse management systems, inventory software and Microsoft Office.

  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in day-to-day warehouse activities.

  • A strong focus on workplace health and safety, accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • A current driver's licence.

A current forklift licence and experience using inventory management systems such as Cin7 will be highly regarded.

Why Join CareWell?
