Job summary

ParagonCare in Sydney is seeking an experienced warehouse operations leader to run inbound, inventory control, dispatch and pick-pack across AM and PM shifts. You will drive efficiency, service quality and cost reduction while maintaining a safe, compliant workspace.

You will oversee high-value stock (approx. $30M cold chain) across ~60,000 SKUs, coach a long-serving supervisor team, implement SOPs, and ensure staff performance and appropriate training.

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
• Strong coaching capabilities and compliance with SOPs.
• Ability to adapt to shift changes and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full Sydney warehouse operation: inbound, inventory control, dispatch and pick-pack across AM and PM shifts
• Develop and recommend improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency, improve service, reduce errors and lower costs.
• Look after high-value stock, including about $30M of cold chain inventory, across about 60,000 SKUs on record (27,000 active)
• Co-ordination of warehouse maintenance and ensuring a clean, tidy and presentable workplace at all times.
• Introduce operational structure, compliance, accountability and training governance
• Coach and develop a long-serving supervisor team, enforce SOPs and hold supervisors accountable
• Monitor the performance of staff and provide for the training of staff, assist with the selection of new staff and adequately manage any non-performance.

Job description

• A proven operational leader who has operated at this level previously
• Has the presence and confidence to lead an experienced supervisory team and have difficult accountability conversations
• Open on industry: 3PL, wholesale or retail distribution all suit. High-SKU, high-volume, fast-moving experience is preferred
• Warehouse relocation and fit-out experience is a strong advantage
• A strong coach who can lift supervisor capability
• Comfortable with shift flexibility (early morning and afternoon)
