Job summary

PDP Fine Foods in Ingleburn, NSW, is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader to run the afternoon/evening shift, lead a team of operators, and ensure on‑time dispatch and GMP compliance in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

You will balance people management with operational delivery, oversee receiving, storing, picking and dispatch, manage inbound/outbound logistics with carriers, and uphold safety, WHS and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics team leader capacity.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory software.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of WHS regulations and best practice in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch, ensuring orders are processed and delivered on time.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with carriers and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and NetSuite/Smart Count compliance.
• Enforce safety, GMP standards, and temperature compliance in cool rooms and chilled storage.
• Maintain pallet racking, forklifts, and equipment in safe condition and report damages.
• Support CoR compliance, including load data accuracy and driver induction processes.
• Resolve team and operational issues, report incidents and near misses, and KPI performance.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader to lead ourafternoon/evening shift operations.

You will oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of operators, with accountability for inventory accuracy, safety standards, on-time dispatch, and GMP compliance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance people management with operational delivery in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The Role

Position:Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader

Location:Ingleburn

Shift: Afternoon/Evening | Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance, while fostering an open communication culture aligned with PDP values.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatch, ensuring orders are processed and delivered on time.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, working closely with carriers, suppliers and the purchasing department to align stock levels with demand and resolve delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock audits and NetSuite/Smart Count compliance, reporting discrepancies to relevant parties.
• Enforce safety, food safety, and GMP standards across the team, including temperature compliance in cool rooms and chilled storage.
• Ensure pallet racking, forklifts, and warehouse equipment are maintained and in safe working condition, reporting damages promptly.
• Support Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance, including load data accuracy and driver induction processes.
• Resolve team and operational issues as they arise, report incidents and near misses, and maintain reporting on inventory, productivity, and KPIs.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a warehouse/logistics team leader capacity
• Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory software
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of WHS regulations and best practice in warehouse operations
• Available to work flexible hours including occasional weekends

Highly Desirable

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
• GMP and food safety compliance experienceChain of Responsibility (CoR) awareness
• NetSuite or similar ERP/WMS experience
