Job summary

Priestley’s Gourmet Delights is seeking a hands-on Logistics Supervisor to coordinate warehousing, transport, inventory and order fulfilment across our Australian operations in Brisbane. You will partner with internal teams, 3PL providers and freight partners to manage costs, resolve issues and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safe, compliant logistics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on logistics professional with experience across warehousing, transport and distribution.
• Experience managing 3PL providers, freight carriers and transport partners.
• Strong understanding of freight planning, inventory and logistics performance.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.

Job description

As our Logistics Supervisor, you will coordinate the day-to-day performance of our warehousing, transport, inventory and order fulfilment network. You will work closely with internal teams, customers, 3PL providers and freight partners to maintain reliable service, manage costs, resolve operational issues and deliver practical process improvements.

This role will suit an organised and solutions-focused logistics professional who is confident managing external providers, analysing performance and building clear, sustainable processes.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate warehousing, transport, inventory and order fulfilment activities.

Manage relationships and performance across 3PL and freight providers.

Monitor service levels, inventory accuracy, logistics costs and operational performance.

Support load planning and efficient pallet and transport configurations.

Partner with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve service.

About you

We are looking for a hands-on logistics professional with experience across warehousing, transport and distribution. You enjoy building strong relationships, solving operational challenges and driving continuous improvement.

You’ll bring:

Experience in logistics, warehousing, transport or distribution.

Experience managing 3PL providers, freight carriers and transport partners.

Strong understanding of freight planning, inventory and logistics performance.

Experience using ERP and warehouse management systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.

Highly regarded:

Experience with EDI and SPS Commerce.

Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement qualifications.

Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing.
