Job summary

Wagners Industrial Services Pty Ltd – Pinkenba QLD is seeking a Storeperson with warehouse experience to support the maintenance and production teams, ensuring parts and equipment are on hand and stored safely for safety and accessibility.

Responsibilities include receiving goods, issuing stock, stocktakes, managing tools, arranging test and tag, and raising purchase orders. Candidates should have 2 years in stores and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in stores/warehousing in a busy environment.
• Experience with purchasing and inventory management using ERP software (e.g. Pronto).
• Experience in managing stock in a resources or construction business.
• High level attention to detail and accuracy.
• Desire to help internal teams by providing parts and equipment quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and process all inwards goods against POs and delivery docs.
• Issue stock, tools, and equipment to staff per procedures.
• Complete weekly stocktakes of fast-moving consumables and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and manage tools/equipment, including tracking and storage.
• Arrange test and tag of equipment in line with regulatory requirements.
• Complete end-of-month stocktakes and keep stores clean and accessible.
• Obtain quotes and secure availability of materials and equipment.
• Raise purchase orders as required.

Wagners is looking for a Storeperson with warehouse experience to join our team at Pinkenba Cement. Your key focus will be to support the maintenance and production teams, ensuring parts and equipment are on hand and stored appropriately for safety and accessibility.

What you'll be doing

• Receive, check, and process all inwards goods, including verification against purchase orders and delivery documentation


• Issue stock, tools, and equipment to staff in accordance with company procedures


• Complete weekly stocktakes of fast-moving consumables, and identify discrepancies and shortfalls


• Maintain and manage company tools and equipment, including tracking, storage, and condition monitoring


• Arrange test and tag of test equipment, electrical appliances, lifting and rescue equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements


• Complete end of month stocktakes


• Maintain the stores to a high level of cleanliness and accessibility


• Acquire quotes and ensure availability of required materials, consumables and equipment


• Raise purchase orders as required

What you'll bring

• 2 years' experience in stores/warehousing in a hands-on busy environment


• Experience with purchasing and inventory management using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software e.g. Pronto


• Experience in managing stock in a similar resources or construction business


• High level attention to detail and accuracy


• Genuine desire to be helpful and assist our internal teams by providing parts, equipment and other physical resources quickly
