Job summary

JBS Australia Pty Limited is seeking a Warehouse General Hand in Lidcombe, NSW, to support our meat processing operations. The role involves manual handling, pallet jack operation, and order picking in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The successful candidate will have warehousing experience, be physically fit, and demonstrate a strong safety mindset. Referees can be provided on request, and experience in a chilled environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehousing environment.
• Able to lift up to 20 kg.
• Able to work in a chiller room environment.
• Excellent safety attitude.
• Work-related referees that can be contacted to confirm your skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Multiple openings exist for Warehouse General Hands to join the team at Andrews Meat Industries. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that is leading the way in the meat industry.

Work Hours

Positions available for the following schedules:

07:00 pm to 03:00 pm

Location: Lidcombe

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Partake in manual handling work
• Operate Electric and manual Pallet jack
• Products sorting and grouping
• Weekly stocktake
• Pick Pack orders
• Warehouse hygiene upkeep

About you

This opportunity would suit an experienced Warehouse General Hand looking for that next challenge. What we need from you:

• Be able to work in a chiller room environment
• Be physically fit and strong and able to make repetitive movements and able to lift up to 20kg
• Excellent safety attitude
• Work-related referees that can be contacted to confirm your skills
• Previous experience within a warehousing environment
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
