Job summary

AIRWAY in Brisbane is seeking a reliable, safety‑minded team player for a permanent, full‑time air cargo warehouse role. You will handle load/unload tasks, operate airside vehicles, and manage freight documentation in a fast-paced terminal.

Applicants should have a current licence, ASIC (or ability to obtain) and forklift familiarity. The role requires flexibility for a rotating schedule, including weekends and overtime when training is complete.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, logistics, freight handling or aviation experience is welcome but not essential.
• Current Driver's Licence without restrictions and own reliable transport.
• Current ASIC (or ability to obtain).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overtime when required.
• Current LF Forklift Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity in our Brisbane International Air Cargo team that is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working on a rotating roster, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work schedule and prefers flexibility over a traditional Monday to Friday routine.

The Role

Your average day will involve:

• Load, unload, screen and pack air cargo safely and efficiently
• Operate airside vehicles in accordance with safety procedures
• Coordinate the movement of freight throughout the cargo terminal
• Process freight documentation and complete system updates accurately
• Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
• Conduct equipment checks and assist with general warehouse housekeeping

It is preferable for candidates to hold a forklift licence to perform forklift operations, however we will also consider candidates who do not hold a licence and are willing to upskill.

Working Hours:

AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your training period, you will work on a rotating roster 4 days per week. Note shift times may start as early as 4:00am.
