Job summary

Airway Logistics is hiring a Casual Freight Coordinator for its Brisbane Airport operation. You will be involved in loading/unloading air freight, operating forklifts, and ensuring accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who thrive in teamwork and physical work, with training provided and career development opportunities. Evening/weekend shifts and 24/7 roster patterns are possible.

As a Casual Freight Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping freight moving safely and efficiently through our Brisbane Airport operation. Key responsibilities:

• Load and unload air freight and cargo
• Operate forklifts and other cargo handling equipment
• Complete freight documentation and system updates

About You:

We're looking for reliable, safety-focused people who enjoy practical work and can adapt to a dynamic operational environment.

This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying, and moving heavy freight. Applicants must be physically capable of safely performing the inherent requirements of the position.

Previous warehouse, freight, logistics or cargo experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Working Hours:

AIRWAY operates on a 24/7 rotating roster that may include early mornings, evening shifts, weekend work, and varying start and finish times. Availability to work additional shifts and at short notice is highly regarded.
