Job summary

AIRWAY is seeking dedicated warehouse and air freight personnel to join our Brisbane operations. This fast-paced, hands-on role supports safety-first cargo handling and efficient movement of freight across Australia and beyond.

Join our team to operate forklifts, screen, load and unload cargo, and complete documentation, with full training provided, a rotating 7-day roster, and opportunities for upskilling and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/logistics is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work a dynamic, rotating 7-day schedule.
• Able to perform physically demanding manual handling tasks.
• Minimum 12 months forklift experience is an advantage.
• Safety-first mindset and strong work ethic.
• Reliable team player with good communication skills.
• Current LF Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

• Safely screen, load and unload cargo
• Operate forklifts and airside vehicles
• Coordinate cargo movements throughout the terminal
• Complete operational documentation and system updates
• Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and equipment checks

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse/logistics/freight handling/aviation experience (highly regarded, not essential)
• Flexibility to work a dynamic and changing schedule
• The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including manual handling
• Minimum 12 months forklift experience (advantageous)
• Safety-first mindset and a strong work ethic
• A reliable team player with great communication skills

Licensing & Requirements

• Current Australian Driver Licence with own reliable transport
• Current LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC

Employment will be subject to successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen and police check.
