Job summary

Automotive Paint Supplies in Melbourne is seeking a dependable warehouse operative to support daily picking, packing and dispatch, with courier deliveries across the metro area. Training is provided for paint mixing and counter tasks as needed.

You will work in a small team, maintain stock accuracy, and help with WHS compliance. Prior warehousing and delivery experience is preferred, with forklift licensing encouraged.

Are you dependable, energetic and enthusiastic? Come and join the team at Automotive Paint Supplies to help us keep our operation running smoothly.

Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you will be responsible for warehouse operations including picking, packing and daily delivery of goods through the wider metro Melbourne area. You will also be tasked with roles outside of regular warehouse duties, that will include answering phone calls, assisting at the trade counter and mixing automotive and industrial paints (training provided)

Key responsibilities

Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately and in a timely manner

Daily delivery goods in a safe and timely manner with good record keeping

Receiving, unloading and stocking incoming deliveries while keeping the warehouse tidy and organised

Conducting stock checks and supporting inventory accuracy

Supporting broader warehouse operations and pitching in wherever the team needs you

Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies

About you

A genuine team player with a can-do approach and strong work ethic

Conscientious, with strong attention to detail and communication skills

Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

A commitment to reliability, safety, and customer service

Forklift licence – or the willingness to acquire one (highly regarded)

Good level of physical fitness with the ability to handle heavy items

Prior warehousing and delivery experience

Product knowledge or experience in automotive, industrial and protective coatings (not essential)
