Job summary

Mammoth is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate stock, and fulfil customer orders in a fast-paced environment.

You will work across warehousing tasks, logistics and customer service, contributing to process improvements while upholding Zero Harm safety standards. This permanent role offers a diverse, hands-on workload and opportunities to influence efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) and a valid manual C-class driving licence.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and materials handling.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to travel to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock flow and order fulfilment.
• Receive, inspect, label, store, pick, pack and dispatch inventory.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through stock control activities and regular stocktakes.
• Manage warehouse locations, bin codes and inventory systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Generate freight connotes and coordinate cost-effective freight bookings.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment aligned with Zero Harm principles.
• Support customers at the front counter and assist with warehouse-related enquiries.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient stock flow and order fulfilment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• C Class (Manual) Drivers Licence.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment and materials handling machinery.
• Demonstrated warehouse, logistics, stores, or inventory management experience.
• Ability to safely load, unload, pick, pack and dispatch stock.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and commitment to Zero Harm.
• Ability to travel to customer sites when required.

Preferred Experience

• 4 to 5 years’ experience in Warehousing.
• Forklift Operations experience.
• Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Exposure to industrial, mining, manufacturing or heavy industry environments.
• Experience conducting stocktakes and inventory reconciliations.
• Freight booking and transport coordination experience.
• Customer service experience within a technical, trade or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of CRM systems and order processing.
