Job summary

Dematic, a global leader in warehouse automation, is seeking a Software Developer with C#/.Net and MS SQL Server experience. Based in Belrose, NSW, you will design, implement, and test software for large-scale logistics projects, collaborate with project engineers, and contribute to on-site commissioning across APAC.

You will work on full-stack development, database design, and system integration in a dynamic, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering/Mechatronics or similar.
• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Honours grads with project experience in C# .Net, SQL considered.
• Strong proficiency in a programming language (C#).
• Experience with database systems (SQL).
• Experience with version control systems (Mercurial, SVN).
• Understanding of software development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites in the Asia Pacific region (up to 2 months).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test software solutions for logistics-related tasks.
• Code optimization for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• System integration across software and hardware.
• Database design and query optimization.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software design and deployment.
• Assist in data visualisation and dashboards.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications.
• Stay up-to-date with technologies and logistics industry trends.
