Job summary

MEKĖ Baby in Melbourne is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to help keep our premium baby-feeding products moving and our customers happy. This hands-on role requires you to be highly organized, reliable and practical, with pride in doing things properly.

You will pick and pack orders, prepare shipments, manage stock, assist with inventory, and support launches as our brand grows. The right candidate works quickly, pays attention to detail, and enjoys a busy, small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Fulfilment: Pick and pack Shopify orders, prepare wholesale/retail orders, receive stock, maintain an organized warehouse, assist with inventory counts, prepare products for courier, keep processes clean.
• Shopify & Customer Orders: Process and manage Shopify orders, check accuracy before dispatch, assist with fulfillment and shipping issues, update order information.
• Returns & Quality Control: Process returns, inspect and document faults, photo documentation, basic QC checks, escalate recurring issues.
• General Operations: Assist with stock transfers, labeling and packaging, support new product launches, help the team as the business grows.

MEKĖ Baby is an Australian premium baby-feeding and parenting brand on a growth trajectory.

We’re expanding across DTC and major retail partners, and we’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team and help keep our products moving, our customers happy and our warehouse running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organised, reliable, practical and takes pride in doing things properly.

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

What you’ll be doing

Warehouse & Fulfilment

• Pick and pack Shopify customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare wholesale and retail orders for dispatch
• Receive, check and put away incoming stock
• Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse
• Assist with stock counts and inventory management
• Prepare products and cartons for courier collection
• Help keep warehouse processes clean, organised and consistent

Shopify & Customer Orders

• Process and manage Shopify orders
• Check orders for accuracy before dispatch
• Assist with fulfilment and shipping issues
• Update order information when required
• Help ensure customers receive the right product, on time

Returns & Quality Control

• Process customer returns and warranty items
• Inspect returned products and identify faults or damage
• Photograph and document product issues
• Complete basic QC checks on products and stock
• Escalate recurring product or quality issues to the team
• Help identify patterns in returns and customer complaints

General Operations

• Assist with stock transfers and inventory movements
• Help with product assembly, labelling and packaging when required
• Support new product launches and campaign fulfilment
• Assist the wider team with operational tasks as the business grows
