Job summary

Responsibilities

• Keep the warehouse clean and well-organised.
• Handle items up to 20 kg with care and safety.

Your role

An opportunity exists in our Brisbane office for a highly motivated, experienced Warehouse Assistant on a permanent full time basis.

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Receipt of goods into the warehouse
• Checking goods according to Quality Assurance requirements
• Pick, pack & dispatch of goods from the warehouse
• Delivery & collection of raw materials and finished goods
• Perform stock take and cycle counts
• Ensure that the warehouse is clear and clean
• Heavy lifting / manoeuvring etc. of items up to a weight of 20kgs
• Actively promote and ensure compliance with S&H Core Values and Integrated Management System
• Work safely at all times to ensure safety and health of all workers.
• Consult and communicate with other workers on health, safety and environmental concerns.
• Immediately report all hazards, incidents and near misses.
• Other duties as directed by the State Manager andContracts & Sales Manager.

Prerequisites

• Strong time management and administrative skills
• Team player who can work autonomously
• A minimum of 1 years relevant experience
• Display the qualities contained in the S&H core values
• Understanding of QHSE safe work practices
• Driver's licence
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
• Must be physically fit
