Job summary

Kaffeina Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse and Manufacturing/Service Technician to join our hands-on team in Melbourne. You will operate roasting, grinding and packaging equipment, perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities include servicing commercial coffee machines, assisting with installations and changes, and maintaining a safe, clean workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting, grinding, packing and other production equipment as required, ensuring machinery is operated safely and efficiently
• Carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs and adjustments to factory machinery and equipment to minimise downtime
• Service, diagnose and repair commercial coffee machines, grinders and associated equipment in the workshop and, when required, at customer sites
• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, identify faults and undertake repairs to return equipment to operation as quickly and safely as possible
• Assist in developing and following scheduled preventative maintenance programs for roasting, packaging and general factory equipment
• Work as part of the production team as required, including operating machinery, monitoring production, assisting with changeovers and helping ensure production requirements are met
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, modification and improvement of factory machinery, coffee equipment and related systems
• Perform general mechanical, workshop, warehouse and factory duties as reasonably required, including maintaining tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and organised condition
• Comply with all workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene and company policies and procedures, and immediately report any equipment or workplace safety concerns
• Undertake other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as directed by management
