Job summary

Kitchen Connection is Australia’s leading wardrobe and kitchen retailer, seeking a Wardrobe Factory Assembler to join the factory team in Brisbane. Training will be provided on the job, with Monday to Friday shifts, early starts and finishes, and a supportive small team.

Candidates should be comfortable with hand and power tools, physically fit for manual tasks, and hold a valid driver’s licence. A forklift licence is preferred, and experience in manufacturing is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing/production setting.
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport.
• Forklift licence preferred.
• Previous experience in a production environment is valued.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to assemble wardrobe components.
• Assemble runners, drawers and wardrobe parts.
• Cut and handle glass with training and safety gear provided.
• Manufacture wardrobe doors with training provided.
• Undertake manual handling of goods and parts.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Wardrobe Factory Assembler to join our factory team. Training will be provided on the job.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Experience working with hand and power tools.
• Be physically fit and capable of manual tasks.
• Hold a current driver's licence and have reliable transport.
• Current forklift licence preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production assembly environment will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.

What will you do?

• Assemble wardrobe components, including runners and drawers.
• Cut and handle glass (full training and safety equipment provided).
• Manufacture wardrobe doors (training provided).
