Job summary

Bungalow Homes is seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join our family-owned granny flat building team on the Northern Beaches and Northern Suburbs in Sydney. You will learn construction skills from the ground up with a clear growth pathway within the business.

Ideal candidates are energetic, have a can-do attitude, and a driver’s license. Experience is appreciated but not essential as full training and mentorship are provided in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.
• Ambitious with a can-do attitude.
• Experience in construction preferable but not essential.

You will learn all skills in construction from the ground up, with a strategic pathway through the business and multiple options for growth and learning.

Key responsibilities

Learn and develop carpentry and construction skills across the end-to-end building process

Work on granny flat building projects on the Northern Beaches and Northern Suburbs

Work unsupervised and autonomously, guided by systemised protocols

Contribute to raising the bar on quality in the granny flat space

About you

Current driver's license and own vehicle

Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously

Passion for building beautiful homes

Ambitious with a can-do attitude

Experience in construction preferable but not essential

Must have a current drivers license
