Nikaido Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant – Mascot location in Mascot NSW 2020 is hiring two full-time cooks to join the kitchen team. The role offers 38 hours per week with a permanent contract and a yearly salary of $79,423 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook.
• Experience with Japanese cuisine is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a range of Japanese dishes including BBQ meats, seafood, sushi and sashimi, and side dishes.
• Assist with preparation of premium meats such as Wagyu for the yakiniku menu.
• Prepare hot dishes like udon, soba, fried rice, tempura, and karaage.
• Ensure portioning and presentation meet quality standards.
