Job summary

Elson Australasia Pty Ltd is seeking an autonomous sales professional based in Perth to manage our WA merchant base and hunt for new business across Western Australia. You will travel regionally and be responsible for winning plumbing contractor business through merchant accounts, with regular travel required.

You will report to the National Sales Manager and coordinate product presentations, trade shows and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in plumbing/building.
• Track record in new business development.
• Proactive, persistent approach to sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert to sales.
• Self-motivated with initiative and accountability.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a territory.
• Willingness to travel across WA (metro and regional).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Good computer skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage Elson's WA merchant base.
• Develop plumbers' engagement and hunt new business.
• Increase product penetration across merchant accounts.
• Attend trade shows and industry events.
• Conduct product presentations and training when required.
• Maintain sales reporting and customer activity spreadsheets.
