The City of Hobart is seeking a Still Gardening Program Officer to coordinate the Still Gardening Program, matching clients with volunteers and ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will foster positive relationships and support clients, volunteers and stakeholders to achieve meaningful community outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring horticulture qualifications or substantial gardening experience, a current Working with Vulnerable People registration, and a valid driver licence.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in horticulture or substantial practical gardening experience.
• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
• Current Driver Licence and ability to travel as required.
• Strong administrative and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of the Still Gardening Program with volunteers and clients.
• Match clients with suitable volunteers and manage relationships.
• Provide ongoing support to participants and address enquiries.
• Engage with stakeholders to recruit volunteers and raise program awareness.
• Supervise volunteers and ensure a safe, positive experience.
