Vocus Navy in Melbourne is seeking a Voice Engineer to monitor, operate and support critical voice infrastructure within the Operational Command Centre. The role focuses on ensuring availability, performance and resilience of voice services in a 24x7 environment.

You will work with Engineering, Service Delivery and Field Teams, handle incidents, changes and customer communications, and contribute to continuous improvement. Australian Citizenship is mandatory for NV1 clearance.

Formación

• 3+ years' experience in Voice Operations, Service Assurance, Voice Engineering, or Telecommunications Support environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise or carrier-grade voice services.
• Experience troubleshooting voice service incidents in production environments.
• Understanding of SIP, VoIP, PSTN, and voice technologies.
• Experience working within a 24x7 operational support environment.
• Desirable: Microsoft Teams Voice, Cisco Collaboration, or equivalent certification.
• Desirable: SIP School, VoIP, or voice networking certification.
• Desirable: ITIL Foundation Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support voice infrastructure and associated services.
• Maintain service availability, performance, capacity, and resilience.
• Investigate and troubleshoot voice service faults and incidents.
• Coordinate with customers, carriers, and field teams to minimize impact.
• Lead restoration activities and validate service recovery.
• Support change execution, validation, and monitoring activities.
• Produce technical reports and update runbooks/documentation.
