East Doncaster Secondary College in Melbourne is seeking a classroom teacher to lead planning, preparation and delivery of programs that improve student outcomes. The role emphasises high-quality instruction, data-informed practice and collaboration with colleagues and families.

Qualifications

• Must have provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
• Demonstrated curriculum knowledge with ability to teach literacy and numeracy
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students
• Develop, implement and evaluate a curriculum area or program within the school
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as determined by the School Principal
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings; staff meetings; camps and excursions
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties
