Job summary

The Victorian Government is seeking a dedicated Education and Training professional to join Elisabeth Murdoch College in Melbourne’s southern suburbs. This role supports learning across middle and senior years, with emphasis on literacy, engagement, and community partnerships.

You will work with staff to assist vocal instruction, administration, student support, and school events, contributing to a safe, inclusive environment aligned with Child Safe Standards and the college values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community including students and parents.
• Proficiency in using office systems, software or equipment relevant to the role.
• Capacity to undertake routine support tasks across a range of functions in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group tuition to students from beginning to year 12 level on voice.
• Assist with administration for lessons and communication with students and parents including scheduling and roll marking.
• Assist preparing students for exams, recitals and performances.
• Assist with and attend College performances, excursions and camps as required.
• Attend whole school events and curriculum days pro-rata.
• Direct vocal ensemble with teacher support and performances at school events.
• Contribute to the development of a music culture in the College community.
