Job summary

You will assist administration for lessons, coordinate schedules and liaise with students and parents, and help direct the vocal ensemble to develop a rich musical culture within the College.

Qualifications

• Ability to undertake routine support tasks across school functions.
• Effective communication with students, parents and staff.
• Proficiency with office systems and relevant equipment.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, staff, students and parents.
• Experience or capability to support vocal instruction.
• Understanding of Child Safe Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group tuition to students from beginning to year 12 on voice.
• Assist with administration for lessons and communication with students and parents including lesson scheduling and roll marking.
• Assist preparing students for exams, recitals and other performances.
• Attend College performances, excursions and camps as required.
• Support whole school events and curriculum days pro-rata.
• Direct vocal ensemble with teacher support and other performances at school venues.
