Parker Rose Music Academy in Brisbane is seeking a passionate Vocal Coach to join our new New Farm academy. You will deliver high-quality vocal instruction to students of all ages, build tailored lesson plans, and help grow the school’s presence through events and social media.

The role emphasizes a supportive learning environment, strong musicianship, and the ability to adapt to different learning paces while coordinating with staff to achieve the academy’s goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of vocal coaching or singing teaching experience.
• Music degrees are preferred, but applicants currently studying music are welcome.
• Musicianship and the ability to teach various instruments, music theory, and techniques to different age groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group vocal lessons, ensuring progression for all students.
• Create professional lesson plans tailored to each student's needs, goals, and learning pace.
• Manage administrative tasks such as responding to lesson inquiries, scheduling lessons, and maintaining student records.
• Assist with promotion of the academy through social media, contributing ideas and content that showcase student achievements and school events.
• Support academy events, including concerts and recitals, by helping with planning, organising, and ensuring student readiness.
• Collaborate with other staff and management to align work with the academy's strategic objectives and goals.
• Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment, ensuring instruments and equipment are in good working condition.
• Promote a supportive, inclusive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students and staff.
