Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking a VMware Subject Matter Expert to lead strategic VMware design and delivery across large-scale government environments in Canberra. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with architecture input to optimise platforms and uplift capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive design and support of VMware enterprise environments.

• Proven track record leading VMware infrastructure projects.
• Experience in secure government or defence environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership.
• Ability to mentor engineers and drive capability uplift.

The Role
We are seeking a VMware Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership across large-scale virtualisation environments supporting critical government systems in Canberra.

• Demonstrated experience leading VMware infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture.
• Experience operating within secure government or defence environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical direction.
