Job summary

Harvey Norman is seeking a proactive Visual Merchandiser to design and execute engaging displays across Furniture and Bedding in the Perth metro area. Reporting to the State Visual Merchandiser, you will travel regionally about monthly, set up layouts, and ensure displays align with seasonal brand directions while supporting franchise stores.

Qualifications

• Retail experience with visual merchandising exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist stores with furniture and bedding department layout.
• Implement visual merchandising standards across Furniture and Bedding.
• Travel across Perth metro and regional visits approximately monthly.
• Coordinate displays with seasonal directions from National VM Manager.

About the role

Reporting to the State Visual Merchandiser, you will work alongside our current Visual Merchandisers to design and execute creative visual merchandising strategies. You will monitor, evaluate, and provide recommendations to the Harvey Norman franchisee stores to create appealing visual displays for Furniture and Bedding that are aligned with our brand.

This position will involve frequent travel to various locations across the Perth metro area, as well as regional travel approximately once per month.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting stores with the set up and layout of furniture and bedding departments in line with company direction.
• Working with and taking direction from relevant store Franchises.
• Following and implementing the visual merchandising standards across Furniture and Bedding.
• Aligning displays with the current seasonal direction set by the National Visual Merchandising Manager.
• Manual handling/lifting of furniture and bedding stock to ensure departments are set up and maintained in line with company direction.
• Assisting stores with set up of current promotions and catalogues.

About you

You will have an eye for detail as well as a passion for interiors, homewares, and colour along with a natural flair for creativity.

You will also have:

• A driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Experience working within a retail and customer service environment with exposure to visual merchandising.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with business needs.
